[Medin_dacwg] National Data Strategy call for evidence

Dear MEDIN DAC Working Group,

As you may know, there is currently a National Data Strategy open call for evidence. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-data-strategy-open-call-for-evidence/national-data-strategy-open-call-for-evidence .



I propose submitting a collated MEDIN response and have drafted a straw man for this. It is a work in progress as I am still formulating my thoughts but I wanted to give you something to work with as the deadline is close and I'd really appreciate your input at this stage. There are quite a few questions that I am opting not to reply to. The deadline for submissions is the 14th July so please can I can have all suggestions by 12:00 on 12th July to give me time to collate.

I've highlighted the questions that I have responded to in yellow to make them easier to find. Please make suggestions using track changes to the attached document.

Apologies for the tight turn around required for this, I only recently became aware of the call.
