[Medin_standards] latest version of MEDIN Standard available

Dear colleagues,

MEDIN are delighted to announce that an update to the MEDIN Discovery Metadata Standard is now available to download at https://www.medin.org.uk/medin-discovery-metadata-standard

The new version of the standard is v3.1 and brings MEDIN's discovery metadata guidance notes in line with the latest changes to the UK GEMINI v2.3 discovery metadata profile.

MEDIN are currently working on upgrading our tools to allow users to generate metadata that meets v3.1 of the MEDIN Standard and will inform you when these upgrades are complete.
