Subject: Call for volunteers - MEDIN STAG Parent Child Linking
Dear MEDIN Colleagues,
At Tuesday's Joint Working Group meeting we decided to start using Short Term Activity Groups (i.e. Task and Finish Groups) to progress activities that cross over several of MEDIN's existing working groups. I anticipate this will make our current way of working much more efficient. These groups will be short lived and will focus entirely on a particular and discrete activity. We have already received our first request ...
MEDIN are looking for volunteers to progress the following question:
How best to provide links to related metadata records for multidisciplinary datasets that are archived across several Data Archive Centres.
Further details and suggestions are provided in the attached summary.
If you are interested in helping to resolve this issue, please reply to this email by January 7th 2022. A member of the MEDIN Core Team will then be in touch to arrange a virtual meeting.
Thank you for your ongoing support of MEDIN, and I hope you have a lovely festive season.
Best wishes,
Charlotte
