[Platforms] Name differences

Hi all,

I have made the below corrections here, and this is also why I was
asking for a response to my 4 'BODC-X.txt' files, as the 74GD (G A Reay)
'solution' was sent out in late July.
Anyway, these are now solved.

Regarding the 3 codes:

74PT PROFILING FLOAT
74VK MINISTRY OF DEFENSE CHARTERED VESSELS
74VV ROYAL MARINE AUXILIARY VESSELS

 - on Thursday Bob sent his response to this, but as I believe I was the
only to receive it, please find a copy. Where do we go from here? How
will the 3 entries look like?

Best regards,
Susanne

Dear All,

I have been sitting on the sidelines observing with fascination how well

this is all working out! Iagree with Suzanne and Roy in favor of a
'richer vocabulary", but I also agree we should not lose and
information. The more metadata we can provide the better!. Keep up the
good work!

Best regards - Bob

Hi again,

Yes, it was the Nov 2 list that I loaded and checked out. My final
check has been to cross-check the names in the two list for the same
codes. This has turned up the following that I suggest you change:

740U NOTILUCA to NOCTILUCA
744B TRISTRAM, SIR to SIR TRISTRAM

Could we also agree on

74GD G. A. REAY to G A REAY (the fullstops cause search problems on some
systems)
74JM J & S MILES to J AND S MILES (ampersands cause problems in XML and
can be a pain in Oracle)

Cheers, Roy.
