Hi Matteo, Mitch and Platform group,

Matteo Vinci has requested a code for the ARETUSA. 

ICES code suggestion:

48A4 ARETUSA, call sign:IABA, platform Naval vessel

I could not find it on Lloyds, ITU or Oceanic, but I have found an ARETUSA with call sign IABA on a call sign list at this site http://www.moorefelines.com/documents/ACP113AE%20Call%20sign%20Book%20For%20Ships.pdf. It looks like an Italian warship since it has a call sign that starts with "IA" according to the document above. Is anyone familiar with this document?

Since I found the above, I do not think this ship is the Arethusa.

Mitch, would you confirm that this is OK with NODC?

- name:ARETHUSA(F-38) , call sign:GKXA, platform codes: 741V; I don't know if it's the same...
