Hi Roy and All:

The Smithsonian Tropical Research Inst. list the call sign on their home
page. and there is a list of US ships on the UNOLS page, which includes
the Urraca Since we have a Smithsonian guy here, he will call them to
make sure.

Regards.

However, I don't know the source of the flag information (possibly from a callsign registration site) as she is not registered in the Lloyds database. Based on flag I would class her as Panamanian, not American. However, STRI is a bureau of the Smithsonian Instiution which is very much an American organisation! Therefore something of a grey area! As Mitch is the local man I would say it was his call!
